Cookies / Cookies

A cookie (or cookie) is a small text file that a website requests to be saved on the visitor’s computer. Cookies are used on many websites to give a visitor access to various features. The information in the cookie can also be used to track a user’s browsing of websites that use the same cookie.

There are two types of cookies. One type saves a file for a long time on the visitor’s computer, the cake then has an expiration date. It is used, for example, in functions that tell you what is new since the user last visited the current website last time. When the expiration date has passed, the cookie is deleted when the user returns to the website that created it.

The second type of cookies is called session cookies and has no expiration date. While a user is browsing a page, this cookie is temporarily stored in the memory of the user’s computer, for example to keep track of the language he has chosen. Session cookies are not stored for a long time on the user’s computer, but disappear when the user closes his browser.

Cookies are used on MARX MEDIA AB’s websites to:

  • keep track of if the visitor clicked “I understand” for information about cookies
  • keep track of which server the visitor’s session started against
  • keep track of the visitor’s anonymity.

If you do not want cookies to be stored on your computer, you can turn off the function under Settings in your browser.
General information about cookies and the Electronic Communications Act are available on the PTS website www.pts.se .

To give you as a visitor as good an experience of our website as possible, we use cookies. Cookies are used to enable us to see the choices you have previously made on our website and to give us the opportunity to improve our website. Cookies are also used to measure the traffic on our website and for statistics.

On some of our websites, our suppliers, such as various social media, also place cookies on your computer.

It is possible for you to make settings on your computer that prevent us and our suppliers from placing cookies on your computer. However, such settings may mean that some features of our websites will not work. Information on how to prevent the storage of cookies on your computer can be found below.
